Swap shifts without leaving one uncovered.
EveShift is your team's shared schedule. People swap, offer and pick up shifts on their own, and every change is checked against the rules you set: who has to be on the floor, who holds a key, whose certificate is current.
Saturday at Juniper Café. Marcus is the only manager on the morning shift, and he wants the morning off.
What changes for your team
One week everyone can see
Every shift, who works it and what's still open, on any phone. People who paste their own calendar show as busy at those times, so nobody gets offered a shift they can't take.
Swaps that can't break coverage
Set a minimum per shift: one manager, one keyholder, two cashiers, someone with a current food card. A swap that would go below it is stopped, with the reason in one sentence and a list of who could cover.
Managers approve less
Swaps that pass every rule go through on their own if you want them to. Your queue only gets what needs a person: rule breaks, late changes, time off.
Your hours and pay, private to you
Sign up on your own and add every job you have. Paste each job's calendar link or type the shifts in, and clock in when your real time differs from the schedule. EveShift adds up your hours for each pay period and estimates the paycheck: overtime, tips, taxes and what you take home.
Your pay settings are encrypted at rest and private to you. Managers and owners on your team see your hours, not your pay. A team can let one role see hourly rates; it's off by default, and your account shows who has it.
Marcus needs Saturday morning off
Here's how that goes when the rules live in the schedule instead of in the manager's head.
- He asks Ivy to swapEveShift stops it: he's the only manager and the only keyholder on the opening. Ivy is neither.
- It shows who can coverDana is a manager with a key and is free that morning. Swapping with her closing passes every rule.
- Dana says yesYour team lets clean swaps through on their own, so it's done. Both are notified.
- Calendars catch upMarcus's and Dana's phone calendars show their new shifts. The change and who asked for it are in the history.
Made for the phone in your apron
EveShift opens in the phone's browser and can sit on the home screen like an app. One tap on a shift shows who's on, what it needs, and the buttons that apply to you: swap, offer, drop or pick up.
